“What started off as a friendship has now turned into a coach and client relationship. When Richard said he wanted to go into coaching, it was a no brainer that I wanted him to coach me. His knowledge about powerlifting and patience with people is what made it an easy decision. Richard has spent countless hours reviewing my lifts, breaking down every little detail, and trying to help me perfect my technique. Whenever I don’t know how to do an exercise, he sends me a video instantly like he had it in his back pocket. The video breakdowns that he does is so detailed, it catches me by surprise that he even notices such minuet things. Every little technique cue that suggests has helped me really hone in on making my lifts more efficient.
He has helped me reach every goal that I’ve set out to accomplish, whether it was a part of his plan or not. He is always thinking of ways to help me improve as a lifter, and always changes my workout plan based on our goals. He’s extremely accommodating, always asks for my opinion on the workout plan, if there’s things we need to change or improve on. I appreciate that he takes my opinions into consideration when he plans out my schedule and for the goals I have set for myself. All I have to do is tell him what my goal is, he plans out how to reach those goals, and I just execute. Also he is not afraid to hold me accountable if I slack off, always keeping me in check to ensure I reach my goals.
After being coached by him for over a year, and handling me for 3 meets with many more to come, I can say he’s been the best addition to my powerlifting journey. Just seeing him push himself to grow as a powerlifter and a coach is motivating to my own journey, and I hope to continue reaching for the new goals that we have set out to accomplish.”

"In the past, I've worked with a popular online coach (IG and youtube) for body-building and weekly check-ins, the results were there, but the experience and connection with the Coach felt very transactional and there was no connection or guidance. Fast forward, my fitness goals had changed from bb to powerbuilding, I utilized a popular program for powerlifting, but there was no client to coach connection. Just a spreadsheet with workouts. Initially, I was apprehensive with his methodology due to the fact that I was used to training "balls to the walls" every workout, but with Coach Richard, he takes the time to build a proper baseline with the mindfulness of your physical goals and longevity at play. Coach Richard's program is tailored specifically to the individual with macros, powerlifting splits, and video analysis breakdown of your form, technique, and even your breathing. Coach Richard takes the time to work with you via text, voice messages, and videos to address and praise your lifts. Not only does he take the time to analyze, but he spots things that other coaches or myself may not see. He has a keen sense of intelligence and eye for this craft. After working with him for over +5 months, I noticed that my perceived exertion for what was my lift maxes, has significantly decreased, my physique is closer to the look I'm aiming for, and on-top of that I don't feel as fatigued or as frequently injured from the previous training regimen.
